My best friend Koji, a two-year old Akita male, came to your practice when he was lame in one his back legs. After his initial consultation a scan was completed and confirmed a problem with his Achilles’ tendon. Within 24hrs he had been referred to the physiotherapy department. That day he was made a custom splint and treatment started. Eight weeks later he’s made a complete recovery, no unnecessary treatments, no operating, just careful recovery management and understanding. Not easy with a young stubborn 40kg dog.
